January 28, 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. ET Free Webinar: The ADA in a COVID-19 World
This is a free webinar offered through the Southeast ADA Center, one of the 10 Regional ADA Centers in the ADA National Network that provides training and technical assistance on the Americans with Disabilities Act.
From the Southeast ADA Center:
In March 2020, the world turned upside down when the World Health Organization (WHO) declared COVID-19 to be a worldwide pandemic. Nearly one year later, people with disabilities continue to be severely impacted by the pandemic in the areas of employment, access to medical care, and obtaining services from private businesses. Southeast ADA Center staff have responded to over 400 requests for information about COVID-19 and how the Americans with Disabilities Act applies to these situations. Join us for the ADA Talk as we discuss several frequently asked questions and how to apply the ADA in a COVID-19 world.
