This fall, the Great Lakes ADA Center and the Great Plains ADA Center will offer a series of webinars as part of the ADA Coordinator Training Certification Program (ACTCP).
The current pandemic has forced us to cancel our normally scheduled fall conference this year as well. Instead, this October (and part of September) we will be bringing back this web series offering a chance for ACTCP members to earn their needed Foundation credits online. All of the Foundation courses that are not readily available as web courses will be offered in this series free of charge. These sessions are not just open to those enrolled in the ACTCP, but to anyone who wants to learn more about the ADA. While sessions are free, to participate, you will still need to register for each session at the adaonline2020 website.
Some of the session to be offered include:
- Accessible Voting in the COVID-19 Era
- Public Rights of Way
- 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design (Part 1 of a 2-part session)
- Self-Evaluation and Transition Plans (Part 1 of 2-part session)
- Emergency Preparedness
- Service and Emotional Assistance Animals
- Reasonable Accommodations
