Free ADA Help, call (800) 949-4232

The ADA National Network released a new resource, "The ADA and Caregivers: Frequently Asked Questions." This fact sheet answers some of the most commonly asked questions about how the Americans with Disabilities Act applies to family and paid caregivers. Some of these questions include:

  • How is the ADA relevant to caregivers and individuals with disabilities who need their assistance and support?
  • Do caregivers and personal assistants get free admission?
  • Do caregivers have a right to accommodations such as sign language interpreters?

This new resource, "The ADA and Caregivers: Frequently Asked Questions" is available in multiple formats including web-based, printable PDF, large-print PDF, and Spanish.
