The purpose of National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) is to educate the public about employment issues for people with disabilities and celebrate the many and varied contributions of America's workers with disabilities.
This year's theme for NDEAM is "Disability: Part of the Equity Equation." Visit the NDEAM website for resources and ideas to commemorate this month as Disability Employment Awareness Month! You can also follow the hashtag: #NDEAM on twitter and other social media sites.

Held annually, National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) is led by the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP), but it's true spirit lies in the many observances held at the grassroots level across the nation every year. Employers of all sizes and in all industries are encouraged to participate in NDEAM.
